Introduction

Fitness Workouts and Fat Loss Diet

Vivian was extremely overweight. This has several negative effects on his health as well. His blood pressure and heart health were compromised. To counter these negative effects, we created a workout plan that focused on the endurance aspect of his muscles, along with heart health.

We allocated him a HIIT Bodyweight Training program, along with standard weight lifting. We planned the cardio and strength training workouts in his weekly schedule. These exercises get your heart rate going and are great for those with similar concerns as Vivian.

For nutrition, we focused on a calorie deficit diet, as it is the only way to lose fat sustainably. I kept the protein intake high and carbohydrates low, along with a moderate fat intake.

Follow-Ups and Motivation

One of the most important responsibilities of a coach is motivating students to keep them consistent and enthusiastic about fitness. We put great emphasis on going above and beyond and becoming an active part of our client’s fitness journey.

Ww motivated Vivian daily. Be it for workouts or diets, we made sure he had all the motivation he needed to continue making progress. The best part was, Vivian was really active in the group created for his follow-ups.

Having a client who is receptive and enthusiastic about follow-ups not only makes communication smooth but makes the entire process much more enjoyable. It is also important to keep tabs on the results and make any necessary changes through regular feedback and follow-ups.

Here’s what Vivian has to say – “I weighed around 106 kgs and it was not a good feeling. I would be breathless all the time, conscious about my body and to top it all, it started affecting my work as my blood pressure would go really high sometimes.

I started going to the gym and lost the initial few kgs, but then hit a standstill. I could not lose much weight kgs, and I ended up plateauing. I remember vividly seeing a post of Alan on Facebook where he mentioned his transformation, and I saw his pictures and was bloody amazed. He had a toned physique, great abs and you could not take away that he looked fab!

I remember approaching him one day and he got back to me, saying that he would be happy to help. I told him about my health problems and he seemed genuinely interested in knowing what kind of body type I was looking for. He said that he would get back to me and he did. He gave me an elaborate diet plan with a gym routine that he asked me to follow religiously. It took me almost a week to get into the groove of doing this properly and boy, once it started, it changed me completely.

I weigh 75 kgs now and I have changed so much. My mind and my body are so much in sync. I am kicking ass daily with my work and personal life. A good body makes a world of difference as you become more confident.
