About Deepa

An animal-lover and marathon enthusiast, Deepa is someone who truly enjoys staying active and consistently working on honing her talent through hard work and dedication. Her initial goal was to lose weight and simply get into shape, but during that process, she fell in love with running and decided to build a career out of fitness.

Improving her overall stamina, endurance and run timings were obviously the biggest priority for Deepa and that was the focus of our diet and training regimen. Deepa’s incredible dedication to her goals and admirable consistency in following her plan has made it possible for her to not only lose over 12 kgs but also excel in marathon running.

Nutrition

We needed to make sure Deepa had plenty of energy for the extensive cardio she performed via running. At the same time, it was important to balance her macros for a healthy weight loss and eventually maintain a stable weight and overall lean physique.

Deepa’s daily nutrition routine comprised several small meals at regular intervals throughout the day. We included a great amount of protein from both supplementations and natural sources to make sure Deepa had adequate energy for all the exercise she was getting. Apart from that, we had separate dietary protocols in place before her marathon days to aid performance and improve energy levels.

Fitness Workouts

Outside of running, we put equal focus on strength training in the gym to improve Deepa’s endurance, strength, and flexibility. We included versatile workouts to make training easier and enjoyable.

Deepa is now a certified personal trainer from the American Council of Exercise. She is an official coach for ASICS, a leading sports footwear and apparel brand. Based out of Bangalore, Deepa continues taking part in marathons and training hard at the gym to stay in the best shape she can.

Running is an integral part of her life, and so is motivating others to fall in love with this beautiful sport. With a strong social media following, Deepa inspires thousands by sharing her journey as a coach and an athlete.

She has been associated with several fitness brands and organizations while creating independent content to educate her followers.
