Introduction

Shahzad Khan is a fitness trainer who needed nutrition guidance that would optimize his physique and overall health and aid his workouts. As a fitness trainer, he was exercising regularly but was struggling with seeing the best results and that’s where Optimum Wellness stepped in.

About Shahzad

Shahzad had been highly dedicated to his goals from the very beginning. He understood the importance of communicating with his trainers and was extremely open to feedback. The sincerity with which he approached training was commendable.

We often hear people saying fitness is for younger folks without family responsibilities, but as a 43-year-old balancing his family life and fitness with equal success, Shahzad shows that you can never be too busy to take care of your health.

 

Nutrition and Training

Shahzad’s usual diet was heavily non-vegetarian with a large red meat intake. We guided him through his macro and micronutrient intakes by cutting down on red meat and polishing his daily diet by adding more fiber through an increased fruit and vegetable intake.

We had to make sure that he had enough energy for his gym sessions while still keeping his body fat in check. Thanks to Shahzad’s dedication to improving his physique and overall health, he did an excellent job at adhering to his plan after an initial adjustment period.

The improvements we made to Shahzad’s diet greatly enhanced his performance at the gym. Shahzad was training for Olympic Lifting under Mr. Supratip Das, an incredibly talented fitness trainer who also happens to be one of my ex-students.

 

Fitness Education

We all know the importance of exercise and nutrition when it comes to fitness. Another key aspect of fitness that’s often overlooked is truly understanding the science behind fitness and nutrition.

Often, we become so preoccupied with looking our best that we forget to enjoy life and never give ourselves a break. Shahzad is not the type of person to miss out on life and blame fitness for it.

Understanding the fact that it is impossible to get out of shape owing to a few days of enjoyment, he went on vacations and spent time with his family, knowing that as long as he remains consistent on most days, there is nothing to worry about.

As a fitness trainer himself, Shahzad has always been eager to learn as much as he can about fitness and health. His eagerness to try new techniques and apply the concepts he learns on himself as well as his clients is truly admirable.

Some people may believe that it is difficult to get coached online, but with dedication and teamwork between the trainer and the client, nothing is impossible.

Shahzad has been one of the most dedicated clients we have come across. He remained in constant communication with his trainers and was highly responsive to all advice and changes. We did our best to keep him motivated and encouraged him at every step.
